Speaking of electric cars, it looks like Nissan has risen to the forefront of electric vehicle technology. According to this article, Nissan is setting itself up to be the one dominant force for electric vehicles in the world, stating, “By 2012, Nissan will be bringing an entire lineup of affordable electric cars (sedans, minivans, compact cars, and sports cars) to the world market. ”
It would be great to have added competition for this market, but the vehicles that are produced should really have a range of around 200 miles, not 100 as it looks like Nissan is aiming for.
Certainly it is a good thing to have competition in the EV sector, because the more competition there is, the better the product offered to the public which has a high demand for electric vehicles right now.
Definitely. I can’t wait for there to be affordable EV choices!
